Problem: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2020 TA Series, 2019 L Series Aerial Device, 2018-2025 Service Body, LS Series, and AT Series trucks. The Power Distribution Module (PDM 10) circuit may experience a voltage spike, which can damage the Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) and disrupt chassis functions, including the PTO switch, rearview mirror, or rearview camera.
Risk: A damaged TCCM and disrupted chassis functions can result in a loss of handling and control or brake performance, increasing the risk of a crash.
