What we collect

We don't ask you to create an account and we don't collect your name or contact details unless you email us. VINs you enter in the VIN decoder are sent to NHTSA's vPIC service to decode them and are not stored with any information about you.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without tracking you across sites. Our servers and Cloudflare keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and troubleshooting.

Advertising and cookies

We may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent message before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used, and can change their choice at any time via the privacy link shown on the page. Your rights

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
