Electrical system:wiring:power distribution module/ipdm
Problem: Daimler Trucks North America, LLC (DTNA) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Freightliner eCascadia and 2022-2026 Freightliner eM2 trucks. The electric vehicle power distribution module (EVDM) may not be assembled properly, which can cause electrical circuits to disconnect and result in a loss of drive power.
Risk: A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
Fix: Dealers will inspect and repair or replace the EVDM as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 20, 2025. Owners may contact DTNA customer service at 1-800-547-0712. DTNA's number for this recall is F1017.
