Fuel system, gasoline:storage:tank assembly:filler pipe and cap
Problem: Vehicle description: passenger vehicles originally sold or currently registered in the following states: connecticut, delaware, illinois, indiana, iowa, maine, maryland, massachusetts, michigan, minnesota, new hampshire, new jersey, new york, ohio, pennsylvania, rhode island, vermont, west virginia, wisconsin, and the district of columbia. Corrosion of the fuel filler tube assembly can occur, especially those vehicles operated in the "salt belt," resulting in fuel leakage.
Risk: Fuel leakage in the presence of an ignition source can result in a fire.
Fix: Dealers will inspect the fuel filler tube and replace the tube with a new one. Any other components of the fuel filler tube assembly which are damaged or deteriorated will also be replaced.

Dt: infiniti g20 1996. Tire separation occurred on three of four of the tires. The dealer said that they did not know why the defect happened, and the replacement tires were doing the same thing. The manufacturer said they will prorate the tires and not give the consumers tires for free. *ak *sc *jb
Transmission failure. Automobile well maintained prior to incident. *jb
Motor mounts that fail at under 60,000 miles are definitely a hazard, and manufacturer refuses to replace under warranty. *ak
