Structure:body:roof and pillars
Problem: Certain cargo vehicles, equipped with an option for retrofitting with a partition wall, fail to comply with federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 201, "occupant protection in interior impact." the interior roof foam inserts may not have been installed.
Risk: This could increase the risk of injury to front seat occupants during certain crash conditions.
Fix: Dealers will install roof foam inserts if found missing. This recall began april 7, 2004. Owners should contact daimlerchrysler at 1-800-853-1403.
