Fuel system, gasoline:carburetor system
Problem: This campaign involves certain marauder model motorcycles equipped with california evaporative emissions equipment. Risk: On some occasions this can cause liquid fuel from rear carburetor air filter box. In the presence of an ignition source this fuel leakage can cause a fire.
Fix: Dealers will replace the carbon canister with a newly designed canister and associated vent line changes will be made. The recall began on july 30, 2004. Owners should contact suzuki at 1-800-255-2550.
