Steering:linkages:drag:link:connection
Problem: On certain motorcycles, the rear drag link-through bolt may bend and, if not replaced or overloaded, may fracture causing the rear tire to contact the underside of the rear mudguard.
Risk: This could cause a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Fix: Dealers will install a higher grade nut than the original arrangement and a single-through sleeve (the original design included 3 separate sleeves). The recall began on january 5, 2007. Owners may contact triumph at 1-678-854-2010.
Service brakes, hydraulic:foundation components:disc:caliper
Problem: On certain motorcycles, the anti-rotation stop bolt on the rear brake caliper may shear allowing the caliper to contact the swing arm.
Risk: Damage to the rear brake caliper and swing arm could cause a loss of control of the motorcycle which could result in a crash or personal injury.
Fix: Dealers will replace the stop bolt. The recall began on september 8, 2006. Owners may contact triumph at 678-854-2010.
