Extreme hesitation when accelerating from a stop sign or stop light. Also my dashboard had several crack in it and it's getting more.
Two cracks on the dash board have formed. One on the left side front of instrument cluster. The second on the passenger side intersecting the passenger airbag. Unknown if its interfering with airbag deployment.
The upper dashboard has cracked all the way through above the steering column exposing many components intended to remain covered in the car. Due to the crack occurring the width of the upper dashboard, i am concerned about the dashboard coming dislodged during a crash or forceful braking incident…

Large crack in dashboard around airbag, and above control panel. Concerned about safety and efficacy of airbag, and dashboard in the event of a front end crash. Vehicle is garage parked. Gmc wants $1,600 to replace on a 6 year old vehicle with less than 60,000 miles on it.
